THE COMPOSER OF NIGERIA'S NATIONAL ANTHEM DIED IN HIS SLEEP
Pa Benedict Odiase, the man who composed Nigeria's national Anthem died last night in his sleep. He composed ARISE O COMPATRIOTS in May 1978.
Pa Odiase retired from the Nigeria police force as a deputy commissioner of police. Till he retired he was the director of music of the Nigeria Police Band
FATAI ROLLING DOLLAR, DIES ON JUNE 12
What a sad news.The oldest practicing musician in Nigeria Pa Fatai Olayiwola Olagunju A.K.A Fatai Rolling Dollar has passed unto glory.He died this morning at Marittol Hospital Surulere. He was 85years when he died. He is survived by 3 wives and 16 children.May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Death Sentence on a Banker
An Abia State High Court has sentenced Mr Theophilus Ajakaiye to death by hanging.
Mr Theophilus Ajakaiye (Banker) was found guilty of murdering his wife Mrs Theodora Ajakaiye on 12th October 2009.Up until when the sad incident happened the woman Mrs Theodora was a staff of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc

Controversial baby
Nollywood star actress Olaide Bakare, has being delivered of a bouncing baby boy in New York.
The bundle of joy came amidst mixed feeling, the star actress is rather confused right now as her ex husband, Olumide Okunfulure is claiming to be the father of the child.
Olaide Bakare, has fondly called by fans was dully divorced and newly married to Tunde Oriowo.
I believe they should go for DNA to prove the paternity of the baby.
Brilliant students loses 8 member family in one day
Life is mysterious,it is a shocking tale that Margaret Okwuipo one of the best graduating students of Babcock University, lost 8 members of her family to a ghastly motor accident in just one day.
The accident happened in Port Harcourt on 31st of May 2013. Margaret's mum and brother in-law are the only survivors in the accident
Margaret's family were on their way to her graduation when they met their untimely death. We pray that God will console Margaret .
85 year old Fatai Rolling Dollar is very sick
85 year old, Fatai Rolling Dollar, is critically ill and has since been hospitalised .The oldest practicing musician in Nigeria, is currently receiving treatment in an hospital arround Agbado/Ijaiye. The musician is begging Nigerians to remember him in their prayers.
