PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS

Learn From Your Mistakes:If your great idea is a flop, don’t let that stop you from learning from your mistakes and trying again. After all, Thomas Edison didn’t invent the electric light in one try.

STRESS MANAGEMENT TIP

Be more assertive.
Don’t take a backseat in your own life.
Deal with problems head on, doing your best to anticipate and prevent them.
If you’ve got an exam to study for and your chatty roommate just got home,
say up front that you only have five minutes to talk.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Manage your time better.
Poor time management can cause a lot of stress.
When you’re stretched too thin and running behind,
it’s hard to stay calm and focused.
But if you plan ahead and make sure you don’t overextend yourself,
you can alter the amount of stress you’re under.

NUTRITION TIP FOR TODAY

Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
Fruits and vegetables are packed with beneficial fibers, vitamins and antioxidants.
They fill up your stomach fast so you feel full earlier.
They are also low in calories and help to keep your calorie count low.

Follow the Letter – Number combination. Never pick a B activity when A is yet undone. Never pick a C activity when B is yet to be done … so on and so forth.

CNN cancelling Piers Morgan Tonight due to crash in ratings

After three years of running Piers Morgan Live, CNN has confirmed plans to cancel the prime time show due to poor ratings. The last shows will be aired in March.
"It's been a painful period and lately we have taken a bath in the ratings. Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it. That's run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me. I think I can credibly do news and the ratings reflect that, but it is not really the show that I set out to do," Morgan continued. "There are all kinds of people who can do news here. I'd like to do work — interviews with big celebrities and powerful people — that is better suited to what I do well and fit with what Jeff is trying to do with the network." - Piers Morgan told the Times, "
